Gazprom and Gasunie executives meet
Alexander Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Han Fennema, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Gasunie, met today at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2014 to discuss the current state of cooperation as well as the prospects for future joint activities in areas such as LNG, NGV fuel, energy efficiency and innovative technologies.
The meeting participants discussed the issues of improving the European gas infrastructure in terms of increasing Russian gas supplies to Europe. The expansion of the Nord Stream project and its progress was also discussed, Gazprom said. The meeting stressed that the Nord Stream pipeline could be used to boost gas supplies to European partners.
