SHI receives LNG carrier order

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has announced that it has received an order for a new LNG carrier.

According to the statement, the order was for approximately KRW215 billion. SHI claims that its new order total for this year now stands at seven LNG carriers and US$13 billion.

The details of the carrier have not been disclosed.

SEFE announces open tender for LNG deliveries
