APLNG announces CEO retirement

Maxson was originally appointed to the position in 2010, and has helped to successfully guide APLNG from project concept through construction to commercial production.
Warwick King, ConocoPhillips President Australia East, has been leading ConocoPhillips’ efforts for the LNG facility operation since 2011, and replaces Maxson as CEO.
Prior to arriving in Australia, King has held a number of key oil industry project management, production and development roles in Scotland, the North Sea, Houston and Russia.
