Donsötank orders two LNG-fuelled tankers

Rederi AB Donsötank has announced that it has contracted two LNG-fuelled oil products and chemical tankers at Wuhu Shipyard Co. Ltd.

According to the statement, the vessels will feature Wärtsilä 10V31 DF engines, and are scheduled for delivery in 2021.

The LNG-driven vessels are designed by FKAB, and are based on a low-resistance hull design. They are classified as ice class 1A ships, have an overall length of 167.7 m, draft of 9.2 m and a cargo capacity of 28 000 m³.

Both tankers will be commercially managed by Navix Maritime Chartering.
