Corpus Christi LNG project 47.1% complete

The company claims that engineering has now progressed to 99.7%, and procurement to 64.1%. It added that Bechtel’s direct hire construction through November was 18.5%, and that the total project has progressed to 47.1% completion.
Engineering in November 2016 focused on wet/dry and marine flare modification design. The company added that procurement continues to support construction’s schedule with supply of materials and equipment.
Construction focused on progressing permanent plant concrete steel, underground pipe, above ground pipe, and equipment installation. The company claims that major highlights for the month included LNG Tank C roof raise, set Train 1 propane refrigerant accumulator, and commenced setting sections of propane condenser.
Corpus Christi Liquefaction claims that activities planned for December 2016 remain on track.
