Japan LNG imports down

Statistics from Japan’s Ministry of Finance suggest that the country’s LNG imports fell 6.2% in the fiscal year from April 2015 to March 2016.
During this period, Japan imported 83.57 million t of LNG at a price of 4 547 766 yen, which was 41.4% down on the price paid in the corresponding period of last year.
In March 2016, Japan imported 8.149 million t of LNG, which was up 0.1% on the corresponding period of last year.
