Algerian Skida LNG unit shut down for maintenance

According to Reuters, Algerian state energy company Sonatrach has announced that it has shut down its main LNG unit at the Skida plant for a two-month maintenance period.

According to the statement, exports will be unaffected by said maintenance work.

Sonatrach reportedly added: “The external market will be supported by the LNG and LPG separation complexes of Arzew.”
