CH·IV wins owner’s engineer contract for Magnolia LNG

Clough Ltd has confirmed that its US-based LNG consulting and advisory subsidiary, CH·IV, has been awarded the owner’s engineer contract for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase of the Magnolia LNG Project in Lake Charles, Louisiana, US.

Under the 18 month contract, CH·IV will provide technical and project execution support personnel to the Magnolia LNG project, overseeing EPC contractor KSJV, as the LNG project moves through detailed design, construction, commissioning and start-up.

Magnolia LNG is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd (LNG Ltd). Its LNG project is an 8 million tpy mid-scale LNG facility. The first of the four planned, 2 million tpy trains is expected to export first LNG in 4Q18.

CH·IV will commence work on the contract immediately, with a scheduled completion date of around November 2016.
