Clough names new CEO

Peter Bennett has been appointed CEO of Murray & Roberts Oil and Gas business platform and of Clough Ltd. Bennett will succeed Kevin Gallagher – who became CEO of Santos in November 2015 – on 1 February 2016.
The Group Chief Executive of Murray & Roberts, Henry Laas, said: “Peter is an experienced oil and gas executive and joins the group after 26 years with CB&I, a leading global engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, focused on energy infrastructure. Peter will play an important role in the pursuit of our strategic future defined as Engineered Excellence and our vision of being a leading international diversified project engineering, procurement and construction group by 2020.
Considering Peter’s oil and gas and specifically LNG experience, as well as his successful career at CB&I, he is the ideal candidate to lead the Murray & Roberts Oil & Gas business platform and Clough.”
