FERC initiates pre-filing review for Pointe LNG project

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commision (FERC) has issued a letter initiating its pre-filing environmental review process for the proposed Pointe LNG liquefaction and export terminal on the east bank of the Mississippi River in Plaquemines Parish, La.
The proposed liquefaction project will consist of, among other things, three LNG liquefaction trains, each with a nominal capacity of 2 million tpy. The total project capacity is approximately 6 million tpy.
