Black & Veatch appoints leader of India operations

Indian Oil Corp. has chosen Black & Veatch and KSS Petron India to begin an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning contract for a new LNG terminal in Ennore, India.
Anand Pattani has been named the new Managing Director for Black & Veatch’s operations in India. Pattani has stated that India has the fastest growing infrastructure market in the world, and that he aims for Black & Veatch to have 1500 working professionals within a 5 year period.
Pattani has previously worked as the Vice President of Black & Veatch and also as the Region Director of Europe/Middle East/India/Africa (EMEIA) for power generation. Additionally, he has served as Project Director for Indian, European, Middle Eastern, South African and US infrastructure projects. Black & Veatch has announced in a statement that Pattani will now lead the company as it seeks to give support to Indian government plans.
