Gorgon LNG shuts down Train 3

According to the latest Reuters report, Chevron has temporarily ceased production at Gorgon LNG’s Train 3.

The cause of the shutdown is reportedly a mechanical issue which is still under investigation.

Trains 1 and 2 remain at full capacity with no interruption to production.

Equinor provides update on gas leak at Melkøya

Equinor has announced that the gas leak that occurred at the Hammerfest LNG plant at Melkøya on 31 May 2023 has been stopped and normalisation is under way.
