GasLog Partners announces closing of LNG carrier acquisition

GasLog Partners LP has announced the closing of its acquisition from GasLog Ltd 100% of the shares in the entity that owns and charters the Methane Becki Anne LNG carrier.

The 170 000 m³ tri-fuel diesel electric LNG carrier was constructed in 2010, and is currently on a multi-year time charter with a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc through March 2024.

According to the statement, Shell has a unilateral option to extend the term of the time charter for a period of either three or five years.

OLT Offshore LNG Toscana received its first small scale LNG cargo at the FSRU Toscana terminal, marking the operational launch of commercial activities for this new service.
