ValvTechnologies names new Director of Global Quality Management

ValvTechnologies has announced the appointment of Michael Teele as Director of Global Quality Management.
Based in Houston, Teele will be responsible for setting and maintaining global quality standards, systems and processes, as well as serving as a leadership champion of continuous improvement. With a deep technical background and 25 years’ experience managing quality programs including ISO 9001, API Q1, API 6A, API 6D, ASME Section VIII and PED Quality Systems, he will focus on strengthening our quality systems and practices to support the continuing growth and globalisation of the company.
Teele’s management experience includes applying core quality, lean, six sigma and continuous improvement disciplines and leveraging industrial engineering, manufacturing, R&D, testing and reliability competencies. He previously served as Regional Vice President Operational Excellence at Proserv, Global Quality Assurance Manager at Array Holdings, Inc., and Quality Assurance Manager at Tyco Valves and Controls.
Teele has a Master’s of Science in Engineering Quality Control from Warren National University and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Process Professional (CPP).
