Petronet LNG net profit rises 15.8%

According to multiple sources, Petronet LNG posted a 15.8% rise in net profit for the quarter ended 30 June.
For the quarter under review, the company reported a standalone net profit of Rs 437.58 crore compared with Rs 377.86 crore in the same period last year.
Total standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 6435.11 crore, up 25.96% year-on-year from Rs 5108.95 crore.
Income from operations stood at Rs 6435.11 crore, up 20.57% compared to the income of year-ago quarter of Rs 5337.31 crore.
Petronet LNG reported an operating profit of Rs 641.54 crore for the quarter ended June compared with Rs 561.88 crore a year earlier.
