Novatek publishes latest operating data

Pao Novatek has reported its preliminary operating data for 1Q19.
In 1Q19, Novatek’s hydrocarbon production totalled 147.1 million boe, including 18.66 billion m3 of natural gas and 2.98 million t of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), resulting in an increase in total hydrocarbons produced by 14.6 million boe, or by 11% as compared with 1Q18.
Preliminary natural gas sales volumes, including volumes of LNG sold, aggregated 22.18 billlion m3, representing an increase of 9.5% as compared with the corresponding period in 2018. Natural gas volumes sold in the Russian Federation in 1Q19 were 18.77 billion m3, whereas volumes of LNG sold on international markets amounted to 3.41 billion m3.
The company processed 2.69 million t of unstable gas condensate at the Purovsky Processing Plant, representing a 2.5% decrease as compared with the corresponding volumes processed in the prior reporting period. Novatek processed 1.76 million t of stable gas condensate at the Ust-Luga Complex, representing a 0.5% decrease in volumes processed at the facility in 1Q19.
According to preliminary data in 1Q19, petroleum product sales volumes aggregated 1.79 million t, including 1.15 million t of naphtha, 272 000 t of jet fuel, and 366 000 t of fuel oil and gasoil. Novatek sold 1.12 million t of crude oil and 372 000 t of stable gas condensate.
As at 31 March 2019, Novatek had 0.8 billion m3 of natural gas, including LNG, and 772 000 t of stable gas condensate and petroleum products in storage or transit and recognised as inventory.
