Golar Power CEO comments on Ocean LNG SPA with CELSE

Under the terms of this agreement, Ocean LNG has agreed to provide 1.3 million tpy of LNG to CELSE on an Ex-ship basis, with shipments starting in 2020 for use at CELSE’s Porto de Sergipe power project, located near Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil.
Golar Power has now released a statement commenting on the news. Eduardo Antonello, CEO, said: “This is an important milestone in the development of the Porto de Sergipe power plant. Golar Power is proud to partner with LNG industry pioneers Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil and their newly formed Ocean LNG joint venture as its long-term fuel supplier."
