Gazprom and Itochu address LNG cooperation issues

A working meeting was recently held at the 4th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok between Yoshihisa Suzuki, President and Chief Operating Officer of Itochu Corp., and Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee.

The parties addressed potential cooperation in the LNG industry, including the localisation of production and services in the Russian Federation in order to maximise the involvement of Russian businesses in new Gazprom LNG projects.

New Fortress Energy and Norsk Hydro sign MoU

New Fortress Energy is to supply natural gas from its Barcarena LNG receiving and regasification terminal to Norsk Hydro’s Alunorte Alumina Refinery in the state of Pará, Brazil.
