New LNG-fuelled containership undergoing finishing touches

Containerships – a logistics and supply chain company based in Hamburg, Germany – has posted a brief message on social media showing its new LNG-fuelled vessel undergoing the final finishing touches before it starts operating.

According to the statement, the work is being carried out on the Containerships Aurora in Guangzhou Wenchong shipyard. Once complete, the vessel will reportedly commence operations in the company’s intra-European trade.

In the statement, Containerships claims that the vessel will be christened in the port of Rotterdam soon.
