P&O Cruises receives new LNG-fuelled flagship

During a formal handover ceremony with the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, P&O Cruises has officially welcomed the Iona to its fleet.

As the first British cruise ship to be powered by LNG, Iona is P&O’s greenest, largest, and most innovative ship yet.

The Iona boasts a luminous glass-roofed SkyDome, onboard gin distillery, and wide variety of dining and entertainment.

P&O are now eagerly looking forward to Iona’s new maiden season in Northern Europe and Spain, Portugal, and the Canary Islands.
