Neste Jacobs has now released a statement celebrating the completion of the engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) work that it carried out between 2014 and 2016.

The terminal features state-of-the-art engineering solutions for unloading vessels, storing LNG, ship bunkering operations, truck loading, and the distribution of regasified LNG via pipeline to an industrial park. Neste Jacobs also carried out extensive process risk evaluations and safety automation assessments during the engineering phase to ensure safe operations.

“By executing this technically challenging project, our experts in Porvoo and Turku have even further strengthened the know-how of LNG processing within Neste Jacobs, putting us in the pole position amongst the Nordic engineering companies serving the gas industry.”
