CCL requests authorisation to commission Train 1 at Texas LNG terminal

Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) has filed a request with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for authorisation to introduce fuel gas to commission Train 1 at its liquefaction and LNG export terminal under construction at Corpus Christi, Texas.

“On December 30, 2014, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC or Commission) issued an Order Issuing Authority Under Section 3 and Section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) (‘December 30 Order’) granting the necessary authorisation to Corpus Christi Liquefaction, LLC (CCL) for the construction and operation of the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project (Project). CCL is herein requesting authorisation to introduce fuel gas to commission Train 1.”

“CCL is requesting authorisation at the earliest time possible, but no later than June 29, 2018, in order to remain on schedule.”
