Civmec awarded further work on Prelude FLNG

Civmec – an Australian heavy engineering and construction services provider – has announced that it has been awarded AUS$45 million in new contracts and additional work on current projects. This includes packages on the South Hedland Power Station, Alcoa’s Kwinana Filtration Plant, and Shell’s floating LNG (FLNG) project – Prelude.
Regarding Prelude, Civmec will fabricate 17 subsea jumper spools and the associated equipment, with work beginning straight away. Civmec has prior experience delivering spools through another Technip subsea project.
