GTT receives approval for its latest LNG technology

Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has announced that its new Mark V LNG containment system has received general approval from the Lloyd’s Register classification society. Mark V technology also recently received approval from DNV-GL.
Philippe Berterottière, the CEO and Chairman of GTT, said: “This new milestone in the development of the Mark V system demonstrates the quality of GTT innovation as well as the close relationship established with class and particularly with Lloyd’s Register.”
Tom Boardley, the Marine Director of Lloyd’s Register, said: “This is important news and we are very pleased to have been working with GTT in the ongoing development of their innovative gas containments systems.”
