Odfjell orders two chemical tankers

This follows a letter of intent that was signed previously. Both vessels will be 38 000 DWT, with 40 tanks and a cargo capacity of approximately 45 000 m3. They will also be prepared for a dual-fuel solution.
This order follows a previous order of four 49 000 DWT vessels with 33 stainless steel cargo tanks. The capital commitments will be approximately US$116 million.
Odfjell claims that the first vessel will be delivered in June 2020, whilst the following vessel will be delivering three months later.
