Yemen LNG’s Balhaf plant remains operational

Yemen LNG has confirmed that its Balhaf plant remains operational, following a minor explosion inside the plant on Friday 6 December 2013.
Yemen LNG reports that there were no casualties and the explosion caused only slight damage to non-essential equipment. Production at the plant was uninterrupted.
Yemen LNG has initiated an investigation as to the cause of the explosion.
