PTT to construct second LNG import terminal

According to Reuters, a company executive at Thailand’s PTT has stated that the company is planning to construct a second LNG import terminal.

Speaking at an industry event, the executive – Wuttikorn Sitthit, PTT Executive Vice President of Natural Gas Supply and Trading – reportedly said that the terminal will have an import capacity of 7.5 million tpy.

Upon completion, this will bring Thailand’s total import capacity to 19 million tpy.

Iraq Ministry of Oil announces FLNG projects

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has confirmed that it is going ahead with the floating terminal project for importing LNG.
