According to the latest Reuters report, Tellurian has announced that it expects construction to commence on its Driftwood LNG export terminal in 1H19.
This news was announced in the company’s 3Q results.
Partners in the US$27.5 billion project will reportedly be announced by the end of 2018, and operations are scheduled to start in 2023.
The Driftwood LNG project is one of many that form a new wave of US LNG initiatives. These projects are all currently competing for customers who will support their construction, and subsequently enable them to begin operations in time to capitalise on the growing global demand for LNG as a fuel source.
