Novatek appoints new Chairman of the Board

The Russian natural gas producer, Novatek, has elected Alexander Natalenko as Chairman of the Board. Combined with other new board member appointments, the strategy committee now consists of Natalenko, Andrei Akimov, Burckhard Bergmann, Michael Borrell and Gennady Timchenko.
Novatek is the main shareholder of the Yamal LNG project in Russia, holding 60% of the shares. Total and China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) are the other shareholders, with each holding 20%.
