Atlantic Gulf & Pacific Company (AG&P) has been awarded a major contract to supply critical process modules to the Yamal LNG project.
Following a competitive tender process, Yamgaz selected AG&P for its high capacity, advanced modular construction capabilities, stringent safety and quality standards and previous track record of successful project delivery.
AG&P will deliver some of the largest LNG modules ever built, accelerating project construction and minimising the time to commercial operation.
"It is a privilege for AG&P to support the grand vision of Yamal LNG. AG&P’s selection is a result of the hard work of our outstanding people and is an example of the confidence the world is showing toward the Philippines. A significant milestone in the history of our company, AG&P looks forward to building these complex and exciting modules to the highest levels of safety and quality in our state of-the-art yards outside of Manila,” commented Augusto G. Gan, Managing Director, AG&P.
This contract announcement follows the successful deployment of the world-first Hydro Deck in Darwin to service the largest-ever construction project in Australia’s Northern Territory. The Hydro Deck, designed and operated by AG&P ALE Ventures Pty Ltd., is a mobile port solution capable of offloading large, fabricated modules or equipment onto project sites regardless of extreme tidal variations.
