KN releases LNG results for April 2019

AB Klaipedos Nafta (KN) has released preliminary activity and revenue results for April 2019.
In April 2019, KN’s LNG terminals regasified and reloaded 1.47 million MWh of natural gas. Compared to the same period of 2018 (1.15 million MWh), this figure represents a 28.3% increase.
During the first four months of 2019, the company in total regasified and reloaded 2.21 million MWh of natural gas (during the same period of 2018 – 2.25 million MWh).
The preliminary sales revenue of the company’s LNG terminal for April 2019 comprised €7.7 million (during the same period of 2018 – €5.3 million). Revenue consists of the regasification tariff fixed part (for booked annual capacities) and variable part for amount of regasified LNG, reloading revenues and additional income related to impact of currency exchange for lease liabilities.
The preliminary revenue of the LNG terminal for the first four months of 2019 comprised €30.6 million. This represents an increase of 39.1% compared to the same period of 2018 (€22.0 million).
Total preliminary sales revenue of the company in the period January – April 2019 amounted to €41.2 million. A 15.1% increase compared to the same period of 2018 (€35.8 million).
