Gazprom and IGU meeting stresses the importance of gas availability

A meeting between the Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Alexey Miller, and the President of the International Gas Union (IGU), David Carroll, has taken place. This was part of the 5th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
Miller and Carroll discussed a variety of issues and obstacles in modern energy industries. In particular, the point was made that gas availability is fundamental to the development of the energy market. As such, both parties stressed the importance of implementing gas projects, ranging from production, to transmission, storage, and supply. Finally, the meeting’s participants also stressed the importance of removing blockades to gas sales.
