GasLog Partners acquires LNG carrier from GasLog Ltd

GasLog Partners LP (the Partnership) has announced the closing of its acquisition from GasLog Ltd (GasLog) of 100% of the shares in the entity that owns and charters GasLog Geneva.

GasLog Geneva is a 174 000 m³ tri-fuel diesel electric LNG carrier. It was constructed in 2016, and has been operated by GasLog ever since its delivery.

The LNG carrier is presently on a long-term time charter with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc through September 2023. Shell has two consecutive extension options, which – if exercised – would extend the charter for a five or eight-year period.

Argent LNG launches EPC review and pre-filing process with FERC

Argent LNG has initiated a comprehensive EPC partner review in preparation for entering the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission pre-filing and permitting process for its 25 million tpy LNG export project in Louisiana.
