Quorum appoints new Executive Chairman

Quorum Software has announced executive leadership changes with the retirement of Perry Turbes, CEO and appointment of J. Charles Goodman as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Goodman will support the executive team during the transition, as well as lead the search for Turbes’ replacement. Goodman is a 30-year veteran of the energy and utility industries. A graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering , he was most recently the CEO of PowerPlan Inc., a former Thoma Bravo portfolio company. Prior to that, Goodman was the CEO of P2 Energy Solutions.
“We are excited to have Charles join the Quorum Board of Directors as Executive Chairman,” said Scott Crabill, a Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo. “He brings a wealth of executive leadership experience from his decades in the energy sector and has an accomplished and long-standing relationship with Thoma Bravo. We look forward to working with Charles and the Quorum management team on Quorum’s next stage of growth.”
Perry Turbes will stay on as a member of the Board of Directors. A member of the Quorum team for 19 years, Turbes led the transition of Quorum into Quorum Software.
