Chiyoda awarded contract for Tangguh LNG expansion
Chiyoda Corporation has been awarded the onshore FEED contract for the Tangguh LNG expansion project (Train 3).
BP Berau Limited awarded the contract to Chiyoda, in consortium with PT Chiyoda International Indonesia, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chiyoda, and PT Tripatra Engineers and Constructors, PT Tripatra Engineering, PT Saipem Indonesia and PT Suluh Ardhi Engineering (collectively CSTS).
Tangguh LNG Train 3, with a liquefaction capacity of 3.8 million tpa, will be constructed at the Tangguh site, which is located in Papua Barat Province, Indonesia.
CSTS will execute the FEED work for the Train 3, over a period of 12 months, which also encompasses an LNG jetty and associated infrastructure.
