LNG Industry,
According to Reuters, PGNiG – a Polish state-run gas company – has announced that is considering the possibility of purchasing five LNG cargoes as spot contracts in June and July 2016.
The cargoes will be delivered irrespective of PGNiG’s long-term supply contracts with Qatargas.
A new Baltic Sea LNG terminal would receive the cargoes. The terminal is Poland’s major project to reduce dependence on Russian supplies.
