Sakhalin Energy named best LNG operator
Sakhalin Energy has been named the ‘Best LNG Project Operator’ at the 10th Annual Russia Offshore Conference, which took place in Moscow at the beginning of March.
Under the slogan ‘Strengthening partnership for the development of offshore and LNG projects in Russia,’ the conference gathered top managers from Russian and international companies, as well as representatives from scientific communities and research centres.
Current and forthcoming developments were among the projects considered by the expert commission, including large scale projects for oil and gas infrastructure construction on the Arctic shelf.
In a statement concerning the recognition, the company said: “The prize received by Sakhalin Energy is yet another testament to the recognition of Sakhalin Energy’s achievements not only as a pioneer in the development of offshore resources and LNG production in Russia, but also as a responsible operator and reliable supplier, with priorities including safety, reliability of production and supply, economic efficiency and growth.”
