YPF loading first Argentine LNG export cargo

According to Reuters, YPF has announced that is has begun loading the record first LNG cargo to be exported from Argentina.

The shipment will be reportedly be composed of 30 000 m3 of LNG from the Vaca Muerta shale play.

YPF have not released the destination of the shipment, however it was announced that the operation is in the hands of Cheniere Energy Inc.

LNG export revenues will generate in excess of US$200 million per year for YPF (10% of its total fuel and energy exports).
