probunkers has announced that it is taking a further step towards the implementation of its LNG bunkering project by inviting stakeholders to submit proposals for the design of the company’s LNG bunkering vessels.

As the LNG-as-marine-fuel sector expands, probunkers claims that it is continuing to develop a reliable, global scale LNG bunkering network.

During the project, the company will design, construct and operate a fleet of modern, eco-friendly LNG bunkering vessels to brace the ever-changing requirements of global shipping. At this stage, the company is interested in building seven LNG bunkering vessels, which will operate in a number of different ports across the globe. The company is also inviting companies to submit initial concept design proposals, along with outline specifications and general arrangement for such type of vessel.

According to the statement, the proposals can be submitted until 29 March.
