Shell names new Integrated Gas Director

Royal Dutch Shell has announced that it has appointed Maarten Wetselaar to the position of Integrated Gas Director. The appointment will take effect as of 1 January 2016.
Over the last three years, Integrated Gas in Shell has generated approximately US$11 billion/yr. This is a significant increase from the US$2 billion generated in 2009.
Maarten, who is currently the Executive Vice President of Integrated Gas, will now become a member of the Executive Committee of Shell, but joined Shell in 1995.
In his time with the company, Maarten has served in a variety of positions in commercial, financial and general management fields in downstream, upstream and trading.
