LNG Industry,
According to the latest Reuters report, the trading arm of Thailand’s PTT has purchased an LNG cargo on a free-on-board (FOB) basis for the first time.
The supplier of the spot cargo has not been named by PTT International Trading, but it is known that it will be shipped from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG project for delivery to Europe in August.
A Reuters source described this as “the latest sign the company is broadening its trading activity.”
