SHI receives eighth LNG carrier order of 2019

Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) has announced that it has received an order for a new LNG carrier.
The order was placed by an as-yet unnamed entity, and is reportedly worth approximately KRW 222 billion (US$189.81 million).
SHI’s order total for 2019 now stands at 8 LNG carriers and 1 FPSO, worth a total of US$2.6 billion.
