SPT (Americas), the international ship-to-ship (STS) oil and gas cargo transfer company has again surpassed 365 consecutive days without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).
Health and Safety spokesperson for the company, Richard White, said: “Reflecting the company’s core commitment both to its staff and its oil and gas major customers, with the industry under close scrutiny to drive costs down, it is crucial that service and solutions providers can provide a proven, safe and consistent service with minimal downtime. SPT’s safety record is founded on a proactive team of LSV crews, mooring masters and mooring master assistants dedicated to best practice. 365 days and zero LTIs is quite a milestone and in keeping with our commitment and safety objective of ‘zero injuries’.”
Simon M. Duncan, President & CEO of SPT Inc., adds: “It is an exciting time for SPT Inc. With a growing leadership in oil and LNG STS transfer solutions, our fleet and project teams understand that fundamental to company growth is a robust health and safety culture embedded at the heart of our operations. Attaining this significant milestone is testament to our commitment from all our employees to ensure a safe working environment in our activities. Well done to all and let’s keep this momentum going.”
