Egypt reaching new LNG export highs

According to Reuters, Egypt is currently exporting 520 million ft3 of LNG per day from it Idku LNG plant.

A petroleum ministry official recently informed Reuters that the Idku eport plant had previously been exporting 300 million ft3, before reaching these new heights.

Two of Egypt’s state oil & gas companies, as well Malaysia’s Petronas and Royal Dutch Shell, are involved in LNG export operations from the Idku plant.
