Taiwan signs preliminary LNG purchase deal with US producer

Reuters is reporting that Taiwan’s CPC Corp has announced a preliminary deal to buy LNG from Cheniere Energy for 25-years.

CPC reportedly signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) to purchase 2 million tpy of LNG from Cheniere, which is preparing to start exporting from its second US facility at Corpus Christi, Texas.
