International LNG Summit takes place in Barcelona

On 24-25 April, the 2nd Annual International LNG Summit in Barcelona opened its doors to top leaders of the LNG industry. For two days, Hotel Hesperia Tower became the hotspot for the industry experts and the place to be for any business, aspired to grow or establish itself on the market.
The event welcomed 350 attendees, who travelled from all across the world to discuss the existing industry problems, its promising future, and to connect with skilled experts from the biggest companies. Among the latter, we were honored to have speakers from OAPEC, Gas Natural Fenosa, Petronas, Enagas, Cheniere Energy, and even NASA, all of whom delivered eloquent speeches on topics ranging from the Global gas dynamics and the implication for Europe’s hub, to Using drones in confined spaces -- the opportunities in the LNG industry, to LBM in Italy: state of the art and future development, to LNG as a truck fuel in Spain, and FSRUs.
The first day of the Summit culminated with the grand Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony to honour top professionals for their outstanding achievements and forward-thinking performance. This is a true sign of appreciation from both industry gurus and market analysts. The Awards have been given in five different nominations: The most innovative LNG project of the year; EPC contractor of the year; The most efficient service provider of the year; LNG supplier of the year, and LNG facility of the year.
