Driftwood LNG receives authorisation to export LNG to FTA nations

Tellurian Inc. has announced that its Driftwood LNG project has received authorisation from the US Department of Energy (DOE) to export LNG to free trade agreement (FTA) nations.

The company has also submitted an application to export LNG to non-FTA nations, and is expecting to file its Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) application later this quarter.

The proposed 26 million tpy Driftwood LNG project is located near Lake Charles, Louisiana, in the US Gulf Coast. Tellurian expects that construction will commence in 2018, with first LNG expected for delivery in 2022, followed by full operation in 2025.

GULF and PTT Tank sign EPCC contract with POSCO E&C

Gulf Development Public Company Ltd and POSCO E&C, have signed an EPCC contract between Gulf MTP LNG Terminal Co. Ltd and PEC-CAZ consortium for the superstructure development of the Map Ta Phut industrial port phase 3 project.
