4000 LNG vessels received at Chita LNG terminal

JERA Co., Inc. has announced that the total number of LNG vessels that have been received at Chita LNG terminal in Chita City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, has reached 4000 with the arrival of Senshu Maru carrying LNG from Indonesia – utilised in partnership with Toho Gas Co., Ltd.
About 42 years have passed since the terminal received its first LNG vessel in September 1977. Through the years, it has been operated successfully without any accidents or incidents in receiving LNG vessels.
The total quantity of LNG unloaded at the terminal has reportedly now reached approximately 236 million t.
