Saipem, in JV with Chiyoda Corporation and Daewoo E&C, has been assigned by Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) a new contract for the FEED and the preparation of the EPC proposal for the NLNG T7 Project. The Plant, operated by NLNG, is located on Bonny Island, approximately 40 km south of Port Harcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria.

The NLNG T7 Project aims to expand the existing LNG facility, consisting of 6 LNG Trains and relevant facilities, with a Complete Liquefaction Train (Train 7 replicates the current T6) and relevant facilities. Furthermore, a new Common Liquefaction Unit will be designed to collect excess treated gas from the existing trains and process it into LNG.

In addition, a new export Jetty, all brownfield interconnections and the expansion of utilities are part of the Scope of Work.

All activities will be carried out by the JV Partners with the collaboration of Nigerian engineering service providers as registered under the Council for the Regulation of Engineering (COREN), through two main operating centres, Port Harcourt (Nigeria) and Milan (Italy).

Saipem will be the Leader of all phases, from FEED to EPC.
