FERC approves Annova LNG pre-filing request
The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved Annova LNG Brownsville’s (ALB) request for initiation of pre-filing environmental review procedures.
The review is for the company’s proposed liquefaction and LNG export terminal on the Brownsville Ship Channel in Cameron Country, Texas, US.
According to the FERC letter, the project will consist of an export terminal, including six liquefaction trains, each with a capacity of 1 million tpy of LNG, and a maximum export output of 6.95 million tpy, or approximately 0.93 billion ft3/d.
Annova LNG Brownsville intends to file an application to export LNG no later than February 2016.
